History
With over 2 decades of B2B experience, including the last 8 years immersed in the payment processing industry, we have an excellent reputation with our merchants, some of whom have worked with us directly (we have our own PSP business) and indirectly (referrals) for over 5 years, and enjoy excellent relationships with a diverse portfolio of quality payment processors.
Over the last 2 years, we've had rapidly increasing demand from merchants to identify, and make introductions to, payment processors that offer solutions that meet the merchants' needs. Vouchers, wires (bank transfers) and credit card processing were not surprisingly, the most popular.
Payment Referrals is born
Payment Referrals was born out of a need to more formally support and supply the market's demand, We have strong relationships with a number of quality payment providers, who together offer a diverse portfolio of payment solutions. Having understood our merchants' issues, we identify appropriate payment providers, work with you to understand their products, take responsibility for the on boarding and contracts phase, and once you're ready to launch, introduce you to the payment provider's support/operational team, so you can quickly benefit from their products and services.
We do so on a referral basis, meaning we're not involved in the payments operation and earn our income via a referral fee, that's a small percentage of future merchant volume.
Working with Payment Referrals
(a) Identifying your needs
Depending on where you are based, we'll either meet you or arrange a call, to introduce ourselves, to learn about your business, your payment problems, and to see how we can help.
(b) Identifying specific solutions
During our first meeting/call, we'll learn more about you payment needs, identify and discuss appropriate payment solutions, clarify pricing, explain how the payment provider works, and will email you additional information to help you make a well informed decision.
(c) Moving forwards
If we both believe there's business to be done, (we might have in the meantime already spoken to the payment provider for feedback), and you confirm you want to go ahead, we'll take full responsibility for all the on-boarding (unless the provider requests the merchant to upload online). We'll work with you to collect all the company and KYC documents, until we have a complete package, and we'll submit them to the Provider's compliance department for approval, on your behalf, working diligently with the provider on all questions until the application is (hopefully!) approved. In parallel, we'll have explained to you all integration requirements (if relevant), and provided you with the appropriate documentation. We'll also work with you to accelerate the signing of the payment contracts with the provider, and once signed, we'll introduce you to the provider's account manager, so that you can launch.
In parallel to sending you the merchant's contract, we'll also send you our referral agreement for signature.
(d) Our ongoing relationship
Just because you've gone live with a merchant we introduced to you, doesn't mean we'll disappear. We're always available for discussion, escalation, brainstorming, etc. And of course, we want to keep our fingers on your business pulse to see that, as your needs change, and our solutions grow, if there are any new opportunities to expand our activities together.
